nothing from the Darchinyan rematch tells me that a rematch against Rigondo would be any better for Donaire nor more exciting to watch.

Donaire wants to make the fight exciting for fans but Rigondeaux will just be on his bicycle all night and run away from Donaire's power.

So he should stand there and let Donaire hit him? Donaire needs to change HIS game plan, not Rigo.

exactly... and Donaire won't be able to catch up to Rigondo or cut off the ring.... it's not a fight worth making.

I don't understand why some boxing fans are so against things like this (title defenses/fights against a highly ranked guy/titlist who's unproven) and more obsessed with other business type things like PPV numbers and draw potential, etc... Fights like these are what gives fighters their chances, everyone started at the bottom and had to have their first opportunity too, and this is what creates the new next top fighter/contender/star, etc...

              Axe Man...CHOPS DOWN DONAIRE!

Walters is the Keith Thurman of that 126 division! Too Big and Too Powerful for anybody currently in that Division I think he will knock them all out yes including Donaire who was wobbled by a old Vic a few times during their fight

              Walters is the REAL DEAL!

Came here to say the exact same thing.

Axe Man will finish what Darchinyan failed to do. If Donaire underestimated Darch, he will be in for a rude awakening against Walters.

Forget the Rigo rematch. It would be twice boring than the first. Rigo will run faster.

Remember the last Axe-Man from Jamaica O'Neil Bell he was a fun dude to watch huge power.

This isn't a bad fight Walters will come to fight and win and more importantly come at Donaire or at least until he catches some flack, could end up being a good one.
