Wake up people, Lara hasn't even gotten fight with Canelo yet what makes you think Golden Boy will feed one of their Mexican hypes to a slick Cuban? Santa Cruz will never fight Rigo. If Rigo signs with GBP, Santa Cruz will make his way up to 126.
Yep, Santa Cruz is very good, but the one time his unknown opponent gave him some movement on NBC, he didn't look very good. He's about to outgrow 122 legit anyway

No dude, that was at 118. Agbeko has never had a meaningful fight above 118

exactly, the only reason the first fight got made is because donaire really had no choice but to take on rigo without it looking bad. arum never wanted it and we saw why. there is no point in a rematch but donaire said it himself that he wanted it in front of everyone

Arum it seems the older he gets the more he tries to control the sport too much. He needs to stop ignoring Rigo, or at least have the common courtesy to cancel his contract so the man can get with a promoter who believes in him. This is ridiculous. The man flat out schools his golden calf, and Arum won't even give the man the time of day. Pathetic.

And of course, what daddy says, goes. Funny...I just watched 2 days on Andre Ward and he told Donaire to work hard and if he works hard, he'd never be beat. He shoulda listened. Now he wants to redeem himself and daddy says do what I say. He's gonna work hard for the rematch but if he worked hard to begin with, he may have won. Or at least had a better shot or felt better in losing knowing he didn't slack.

That reply was about Vic losing to Agbeko but still taking a rematch against a good talent like Donaire and fighting his fight!!! No disrespect to the fighters homie
