I can see what your saying but its the only chance he has got of getting a title, I doubt there will be another robbery because it'd screw Matchroom sports up with their sugardaddy Sky Sports.

I'm sure they'll try to have the fight in Scottland as more people will come out to see it....just be prepared for Crawford
        True.
Burns needs to carefully heal his broken jaw first -- before making any choice to fight those cited here...

Burns needs to make sure his injury is healed correctly before anything else.

That said, Beltran deserves the rematch..so thats a fair fight.
Guys who were calling for a immediate rematch on fight-night, will now probably start saying Burns is ducking Crawford as he's granted the rematch. Beltran deserves another shot though.

i don't blame anybody for not wanting to go to scotland to fight this joker. the money woul dhave ot be great, and it doesn't look like it is.

good luck getting a decision. beltran broke his jaw and roughed him up all night, and he still lost.

The money is obviously good if Beltran seemingly accepted. And it's not as if he's going to get paid anywhere else.

Top Rank are the ones that rejected it because they want to push Crawford instead.

I don't think they'll be any bad judging second time around. The backlash from the first fight has been so intense that it's unlikely to happen again. The effects have already been felt as Scott Quigg was only given a draw against Salinas in a close fight which most thought Quigg won.

They still gave him the belt though, didn't they???

The WBA gave him the belt. He drew so he kept the belt. Most felt Quigg deserved the decision.

burns and co are basically saying we are going to ignore and dodge crawford to rematch the cherrypick that i struggled with and got a gift draw against
Maybe the bigger joke should be that you think Crawford deserves a title fight so soon. Seeing as how he has yet to fight a true contender.

Beltran doesn't have a shiny record to protect. He's been robbed all over the place, at least this time the whole world saw it, and he'll get paid handsomely for the rematch.

That said, Hearn is clearly not doing this out of any sense of justice. The Crawford fight would probably head to the US, unlike Beltran. And even without that, Burns' chance of beating Crawford is still lower than vs Beltran
