Another crazy possibility it's that Manaco is setting up some type of middleweight tournament and Murray will be fighting Quillin.
I just read somewhere that the cruiser tournament is on for the GGG undercard in Monaco

Golovkin has the same amount of KOs as Murray has fights. Murray wouldn't offer any threat to Golovkin. The fight would be easier than Stevens.

Then vacate his interim title and #1 spot

Golden Boy made that offer for Quillin to fight in the UK. There's probably even more money in Monaco and it would be neutral ground, so if anything it would be more likely there.

Don't see Murray vs Barker happening anywhere that isn't the UK.

This is such ****. If Hatton is really keeping Murray away from Golovkin still, it's bull****.

Can't see Barker defending his title for the first time in a unification bout

my guess, it'll be a fringe contender at 160

He can fight on the same bill as golovkin, just strip him of the interim title and his #1 ranking

I hate to say it, but this is a clear duck by murray,,

                  1. ggg and managers want it

                  2. they have a date and venue locked up

                  3. murray is the mandatory

                  4. murray's handler ricky hatton stated the fight was done,,

                  5. murray ducked ggg, no if and or buts about it,,,,,,,,,,

I dont know why you would want to "build this fight" both guys are about as known as they are going to get, only way to reach the next level is to take a fight like this, sorta how alvarado and rios profiles rose dramatically after they squared off

                  6. This is just another example of why boxing as a sport is a pathetic joke
