I agree. But he has Puerto Rican roots, not blood. There is no such thing as Rican or Mexican blood. Same thing with Mexican Americans, they represent Mexico too, even though they are American, like Danny. Matter of fact, Dnny´s dad is proud of being not just Rican, but also Latino.

I'll give you one guess as to who the Mexicans in Mexico supported when Oscar fought Chavez. Everyone has their alliances but those are broken when it comes to who the homeland people root for.Comment

I'll give you some information. When Oscar fought Chavez, those folks from south of the border pulled for Chavez, when Oscar fought Quartey, Mexicans, Mexican-Americans, and Puerto Ricans pulled for Oscar. When Oscar fought Trinidad, all Mexicans above and below the border pulled for Oscar and Puerto Ricans pulled for Trinidad. Alliances are broken for the obvious reasons above. I did a survey on an AOL message to learn what I already knew, alliances change depending on home country. If a top fighter comes out of Puerto Rico and has lived there most of his life fights Danny Garcia, the Islanders will pull for that fighter against Garcia, New Yorkers or American born Puerto Ricans or Puerto Ricans who have lived in America for most of their lives will pull for Garcia.......dividing lines change based on the circumstance of who is fighting whom, what nationality, or where they have lived the most. NEVER expect Islanders to favor Garcia over someone born in Puerto Rico fighting him....they will always pick the Islanders. I will not charge for that information but take PayPal donations to clear things up. No personal checks.I agree. But he has Puerto Rican roots, not blood.
