Comments Thread For: Roman Martinez: I Felt Garcia's Power From First Punch

I hope Mikey has a good career, but slow ass Rocky Martinez was controlling the fight until round 4. His jab was disrupting Mikey's rhythm and his straight right had Mikey doing the booty dew. Mikey was lucky he was knocked down not long before the bell rang, because right after Mikey made it back to his feet, Rocky was landing his right hand at will and the ref would have had to step in and save Mikey's ass if there was another minute left in the round. The people who said Mikey wasn't hurt didn't see how bad his defense was after the KD. He basically became Mikey Bambia at times, until fatigue set in for Rocky and he became a punching bag.
I'm a Mikey Garcia fan, but seriously, the Rocky fight has left me worried about his glass chin. IMO, he should stop jumping weight classes at LW, since his chin couldn't even withstand an weak cross from an average bum FW... Imagine if he jumped to LWW and faced someone like Lucas or Danny! He'd get shattered by a half-powered Swift left hook...
I think Mikey Glassia-Yuriglasskis Glassboa would be a good one for the fans. I used to think Mikey's glass was thicker than Yuri's, but now it's a toss-up fight for me. Whoever landed the first decent punch, would win that fight.Comment

Actually, I was referring to an "Actual" Puerto Rican. Danny Garcia is an American, and his Puerto Rican fan base is not big, at least not totally big yet, and he does not fully represent Puerto Rico with the exception of wearing the flag and going to the Puerto Rican day parades. He doesn't even speak Spanish (I don't think). It's similar to Robert Guerrero and Victor Ortiz when they fought Floyd, not many Mexicans supported them because they were American nor were the buy rates high compared to Floyd fighting Canelo (Who is an 'Actual' Mexican star).Comment

Mikey will move up to 47 and knock floyd out, guaranteed. After Rios retires, Mikey will be P4P #1.
