Martin Murray (25-1-1, 11KOs) has denied several reports that were circulating in the UK, which suggested the boxer had reached an agreement to face WBA/IBO middleweight champion Gennady Golovkin (28-0, 25KOs) on February 1 in Monte Carlo.
Murray did confirm that a fight with Golovkin may come in the near future, because the British contender is also going to see action on the same card in Monte Carlo. Murray will first stay sharp with a keep-busy fight on November 23rd on the Froch-Groves undercard in Mancherster.
