What Should Cotto Do?

IMO Cotto beats both but Martinez is right there on a silver plate for Cotto to eat it and spit it out. I think he should fight Martinez.

He's not on a silver plate. I'm a big Cotto fan but there's danger in both fights. And i think both fights are 50-50 or 60-40 not going in Cotto's favor for chances for him winning either.

Canelo is young, strong and growing into own as a good fighter and is natural at 154.

Martinez is getting old, and has knee problems but he has heart and skill of a champion, he's faced true 160 pound fighters and felt their power and still won. Cotto doesn't even know how his body will be at 160 and how he'll feel or even fought a legit 160 pound fighter to gauge his performance and how he can handle the power there. Martinez is quick and strong. Cotto's face also breaks up from alot of speed and Martinez will land.

Now I think Cotto has a legit chance to win, but him being on the downside of his career IMO is the problem.. and I think Roach will help but I just have a bad feeling Cotto will lose both. IMO he has a better chance vs Martinez regardless what i said based on Martinez's age and knee problems but if his knees are fine .. good luck Cotto.

Totally agree with this. Problem is if Cotto wins and moves down or if Martinez beats Cotto but looks bad and retires it will be a bad situation at 160 not allowing Golovkin to fight the lineal champion. I really hope the winner fights Golovkin.

I think Cotto will lose either fight so he should fight Canelo and make more money. Cotto will probably fight Canelo because Martinez want to fight Cotto in Argentina and I don't think Cotto will agree to fight in Argentina.

The Sergio fight is the better fight to win. The Canelo fight is probably the better fight to lose. As much as I'd like to see Sergio get that payday I think he should fight Canelo. Cotto really has no business fighting a middleweight anyway.

If I was Cotto, Id fight Sergio because of how damaged he may still be but still carries that title and the reputation as the real MW champ... If he loses to Sergio, the Canelo fight is still there and would still sell tons.
