    What Should Cotto Do?

Top Rank is offering Cotto 7 million guranteed to fight Martinez plus 60-40 of the PPV sales. While GBP is offering Cotto 10 million guranteed plus 55-45 of the PPV sales. Cotto-Canelo would do bigger numbers on PPV so Cotto's purse would hit 16-17 million if it reaches what is expected and he would robably end up getting 10-11 million for fighting Sergio.

I just read the other day that the offer from GB was fake, they are definitely talking but they haven't made Cotto such an offer. I don't know about the TR offer though.

I truly believe Cotto should pursue history which would also come along with a nice purse. He has the momentum on his side and I believe his confidence is where he needs to be to take on a big name. After he gets that title, he should go after Canelo ONCE CANELO has earned a shot against Cotto by getting one solid win first.

Either way if you go for the Martinez fight you have a chance to became the middle weight champ and make some good money. The canelo fight you could make more up front and would be another installment of MEXICO vs P.R !!! He has a better chance of beating Canelo but, I'd take the Sergio fight to better your legacy !!!

He needs to fight Molina and Canelo hands down..he can not beat Martinez and would get ko'd and that Goldenboy offer may not be there after that..if he beats both..then go for Martinez or whoever the champ is then

I would go with the Martinez fight. The man is rich and has managed his money well with other business ventures. With this fight, he'd be pursuing history. If he loses, he can just say that it was too much weight and still have some intriguing fights at the lower weights. Either way, he's getting paid handsomely. He'll end his career with some good money.

Martinez is the lineal middleweight champion and the money is good. Canelo is comng of a loss, i would pick Martinez.

Also as a fan i want Cotto vs Martinez because i think it would be a better fight then Cotto vs Canelo. Martinez won't fight Golovkin at least not in his next fight so Cotto is the best alternative.

IMO Cotto beats both but Martinez is right there on a silver plate for Cotto to eat it and spit it out. I think he should fight Martinez.
