hamer landed a few nice combinations early including a couple 3 & 4 punch medleys. ruiz just put his foot on the pedal in the 3rd & overwhelmed him. hamer stumbled back to the corner & didn't want to continue. I actually think I saw him tell ruiz he was done boxing when they were exchanging words after the fight. I thought he said to ruiz "i'm done". he is 30 years old & at that moment I think he just said this isn't for me anymore & what Kellerman was saying could possibly be accurate but I agree with RJJ on the final accessment. maybe the tragedy that struck the sport last week has many fighters re-evaluating their will to continue risking their health...

I wonder why eric Molina vacated the NABF title he won in april? he beat tony grano who was the WBC#5 & NABF champion. he was scheduled to be in the WBC world cup as well. I figured ruiz vs Molina would have been a good fight. ruiz won the vacant title tonight.
