I said this was the guy tua should of fought not Ustinov. shane Cameron should consider fighting him now. leapai is going to be getting some phone calls... the jimmy thunder clone!
Oh, he'll definitely get some fights... But no way Wlad will make a voluntary defense against him, come on man. Lol. I think Wlad might clean up his mandatories before even making another voluntariy defense, personally

Yeah but Wlad didn't have any mandatory fights at the time of those fights, did he? And there was no top 10 opponent available when he fought Pianeta... Literally.... Pulev, Helenius, Povetkin, among some others all publically stated around the time of the Pianeta fight that they didn't want the fight yet.

Pianeta was a stay busy fight, he had a right to that. Wlad has some guys he can fight now. Pulev to start

This Germany-Robbery myth is really just a myth lately. We have had terrible and worse robberies in the UK, Argentina and the United States lately. There have been a lot of bad decisions in Germany over the years but recently it has been pretty good actually. Even Golden Boy Sturm lost two close decisions against Soliman and Geale in fights that probably could of gone iehter way
Agreed. Germany is more legit than the US and UK.

I hope he fights pulev but I also think chisora is owed a shot by wlad for backing out twice. he defended against pianeta & mormeck so this is not far fetched. leapai was suppose to be a stay busy fight but leapai was the defending champion not boytsov. I see a shane Cameron fight on the horizon. it would be a good event down under or in NZLD. you think david tua might reconsider his retirement now with 2 winnable WBO titles still in his region? joseph parker or sonny bill Williams? any top 20 HW must be licking their chops... I always said boytsov was too small...

Now a voluntary defense against Chisora would be cool.... They have some unfinished business and Chisora picked up a nice win against Scott. If Chisora can pick up a decent fighter to defend his EBU title against, it would be even better

I can definitely see a domestic fight next on the horizon for Lepai and you know what.... I think this might just be the opportunity for Tua to fight again (even after his last loss) He would probably get a pretty big domestic payday against Lepai. But Lepai-Cameron seems more likely

Not only would it be a big domestic fight, but (as crazy as it sounds) IF Tua ever wanted to fight for a world title again (which Im sure is/was his goal before Ustinov) fighting Lepai could get him there - assuming he wins, picks up those 2 regional belts and gets lucky by the WBO granting him an elimanator fight or something like that

With Boystovs size and frame..... he needed to be in top shape every fight, especially against the top guys. He has no one to blame but himself for coming in looking like that. Dude was gassed after 3 rounds

just because a guy has a few losses doesn't mean he sucks. leapai is a jimmy thunder type fighter. big heart & big punch but marginal skilled with a decent beard. he is a solid journeyman but no way should a top 10 guy lose to him. boytsov has never fought above C level & he lost to one today. he had a generous ranking & it showed...

cedric Kushner had a title fight with vitali lined up prior to tua\barrett 2. cedric advised tua not to fight barrett from my understanding but tua insisted. tua actually still has a door open only because he is from that region. give bob Sheridan another chance to cheer for tua. Cameron vacated for a big check against green. he lost that fight but could be in line for another nice payday & get the belts back that he vacated. boxing works in mysterious ways...lol!

he was a little soft. he was coming in around 213 his last few fights but he was clearly out of shape & he gassed early.

Clearly out of shape and he looked gassed from maybe the 3rd or 4th round..... His punches has absolutely nothing on them.
