Didn't Top Rank make Vasyl Lomachenko a title fight for his 2nd professional debut? If he's that good let him prove it. He wants to break Mike Tyson's record being the youngest heavyweight world title holder right? Let him fight if he wants to prove it. Maybe he should fight in the US.

I heard he got cut in the 3rd. If that's the case then I can't see him fighting next week.

Someone told me Hughie looked quite pathetic in this fight, is it true?

the guy actually looked pretty awkward. he'd loop a hayemaker then hold his left hand out & then grab him. once Hughie fills out (still growing at 19)he will flatten guys like this. peter fury does his homework. he is getting him on any card he can to get Hughie rounds. he is being matched with durable opponents. guys who come to survive & throw the odd big shot. they do lots of holding & move around a lot. they don't throw lots of punches & none of them have power. Hughie being a boy still has to work to get these guys off him & that only helps him get stronger & as I said before once he fills out & gets stronger he could be dropping these guys early. zack page is the perfect opponent to end the year out with. I hope they get him a couple more fights before years end. i'm liking the progress.

Hughie got a nasty cut in sparring last week. He had it glued, and it opened up again in the fight after a clash of heads. He was scheduled to fight every week into December but will now have an enforced layoff.

Peter Fury has said that he hadn't seen any footage of the opponent, and if he had they wouldn't have made the fight as he was just a negative spoiler.
