    Context is important though. The rocky statue was bought and made for Rocky III by the movie producers not the city.

        I know. And, it was a master stroke of publicity by Stallone in donating it to the city.

        I take that into account, and you're right, it does need to be contextualised as that changes any angle of criticism.

        That said, they've still given it pride of place and all but ignored the city's real life boxing hero, who's life supplied a good part of the narrative for Stallone's 'Idea'.

        I imagine that, sadly for us boxing fans, more people are aware of Rocky than they are of Frazier and the statue is a tourist attraction.
