You know how it is. Your only as good as your last fight because its the freshest memory on everybodys mind.

If he dominates and stops Pac everybody will be calling for a May fight again. Id love to see him dominate Tim again first to really set it up again as the biggest fight since May-Del La Hoya

He has been written off by some fans but the pro odds makers that handicap fights for a living have Pacquiao a four to one favorite to win so they don't think his chin is cracked. Those that believe Pacquiao will lose by KO should put some money on it because they can make about six times what they bet if they are right. I think Pacquiao will win and look good doing it. Rios will fight bravely as always but he will be outclassed in my opinion.

I am more annoyed by Pac than anyone but I do not think he should be written off. He is still one of the top fighters in the world sure. Pac is a great fighter and I will stick to that. Skillwise though he is just not on the level of true elite fighters like Floyd, Ward, JMM, Bhop, Rigo, etc. Pac's success has come from athleticism and explosiveness, not actual high level boxing skills. I think he still beats Rios but as I said before, fighters who have relied on just athletics and speed/angles to win, decline rapidly once they hit that time. Ask RJJ. He is like Pac, he was never a sound or highly skilled fundamental fighter, it was all athleticism and explosiveness. Once that is gone, these types of fighters become punching bags and KO victims because they never learned sound fundamentals or good defense. They never needed it really. Fighters like JMM, Bhop, Floyd, Ward, Rigo can fight into older age because they dont take punishment and they have sound defense and technique.

Pac still has a few fights in him but this fight will tell a lot. If it is competitive at all really and it goes the distance or Pac gets busted up...he should consider moving back down to 140. His run at WW has not been that great so. I can also tell you now, even though Pac got robbed in the 1st one, if he fights Bradley again, Timmy wins a legitimate decision. As much as I am not a fan of Timmy's, Pac cannot hurt him and Timmy looked damn good against JMM. I do not think Pac beats any of the top Welterweights at this point. I used to think Pac had a legitimate shot at hurting Floyd, even though I picked Floyd to win, but at this point I am not even Pac has the power to really hurt or stop Floyd to be honest. Floyd is taking shots from legit JMW's now and bigger punchers than Pac like Cotto, Ortiz and Canelo could not even buzz Floyd so.
