Stiverne is a tall order for Vitali at this point.

Stiverne isn't a bum but if he waits out until Vitali is ready, he'll be an inactive fighter with nowhere near the experience of Vitali. He also likes to eat, so he'll probably be well out of shape. This could be Vitali's plan all along, it's typical Klitschko type of thing to do. Wladimir would only rematch Brewster after he found out Brewster was in hospital for months with an eye injury. He knew Brewster had been inactive for over a year. It's the typical cowardly Klitschko behavior that we're all accustomed to by now.Lets be honest here.... If Vitali fights and beats Stiverne, 96% of posters here will call Stiverne a bum, but won't make any posts leading up to the fight and will wait until its over to decide whether or not Stiverne is a bum or not
(for the record, I'm all for this fight. Stiverne is the mandatory)Comment

Wlad was easily beating Brewster the first time around until he gassed. So why would anyone with any amount of boxing knowledge believe that Wlad would be afraid of him the second time around?Stiverne isn't a bum but if he waits out until Vitali is ready, he'll be an inactive fighter with nowhere near the experience of Vitali. Yeah, because it's Vitali's fault that opponents are not professional and don't stay in shape.Stiverne isn't a bum but if he waits out until Vitali is ready, he'll be an inactive fighter with nowhere near the experience of Vitali. Vitali was inactive from boxing for 4 years and came back in top shape without a trace of ring rust and took back the title.Comment

Stiverne would have to take it to Vitali bcse he's got shorter arms he's got to try to get inside of the reach and look to hit the body ,wear down the older ChampComment

Brewster finished Wladimir in only 5 rounds. Wlad is a diva, he wants everything his own way --this is demonstrable in the Klitschko fight contracts. He waited until Brewster was at his lowest point with a detached retina and only then would he take the rematch - that was 3 years after the first fight!
Brewster offered him the rematch numerous times before this but he refused. It was only when he found out about Brewster's injury that's when Wladimir got confident enough to take the rematch because he knew Brewster wouldn't be able to perform. Typical Klitschko cowardice.Comment
