If Martinez doesn't get the Cotto fight, I'd be fine with Rubio as a tuneup, but he better fight Golovkin next. Cotto will probably lose to Canelo so that option won't be there anymore afterwards.

Broner also was given ultimatum as he holds the WBC lightweight and WBA welterweight title.

Yes, unless he looks like total shit against Rubio, in which case he should retire.

WBC are backed into a corner with Rubio, they have to give him the next shot at the belt. I think they can pay him off if Cotto chooses to fight Martinez but not with any other fighter. They are legally obligated to give him a shot

I'm pretty sure that's what's going to happen.

Mayweather vs Martinez: WBC 147, 154 and 160 titles at stake.

Make up some super extra extreme platinum diamond belt to add because who ever wins will be the lineal WW, JMW and MW Champion..

Mayweather weighs 147 or less fight night and Martinez weighs 160 or less fight night.

Seems legit. Make the **** show happen.

OR just take the belts without telling them.

Imagine if this title just had..

                  to reach agreement.

                  at the end.

                      Rubio just won't go away.

I have zero interest in that fight for Martinez. Zero. Or GGG for that matter.
