Comments Thread For: Mayweather, Sergio Martinez Given December 15 Deadlines

At the ongoing WBC convention in ****kok, WBC junior middleweight champion Floyd Mayweather Jr., and WBC middleweight champion Sergio Martinez, were given until December 15th to decide their futures. The World Boxing Coucil wants to know which belt Mayweather is planning to keep, his WBC title at 154 or 147. Mayweather will likely remain at welterweight, which is going to open the door for the two top contenders, Saul "Canelo" Alvarez and Sergey Rabchenko, to fight for the vacant title.

He's been injured for the past year and some change. Can't really blame him.

No way in Hell, the GGG fights happening. They're getting that Cotto fight signed, sealed and delivered with some bribes to the WBC.

                OR, they'll just fight Rubio.

Canelo loses his belt convincingly and here they are handing it right back over to him. It's about time for some new blood in the division. Tired of seeing the same old recycled fighters trading belts with one another..
