I don't think there's anything alleged about his parentage. Korean mum, Russian dad. If you're comparing his appearance to Tsyu, Kostyas dad was of Korean / Mongol heritage.
Anyways, I get what you're saying, facially he does look more 'Russian' in appearance, though that really tells you nothing about his overall genetic makeup. FWIW if you see any pictures where he's unshaven (or even with a coupla days growth as in the Ouma fight) you can kinda see more of the East-Asian heritage.Comment

his mom's name is elizaveta sergeevna so her father might have been russian which would make golovkin 1/4 korean.I don't think there's anything alleged about his parentage. Korean mum, Russian dad. If you're comparing his appearance to Tsyu, Kostyas dad was of Korean / Mongol heritage.

Did not know that. I guess it's possible she russified her patronymic, though that wouldn't apply to her maiden name.
OK a little research drags up the fact that there was a substantial Korean migration to Russia at the start of the 20th century. Quite likely then his mum could be of Korean ancestry but her family have taken on Russian naming tradition as third or forth generation immigrants. It appears that Korean communities, even when forcibly resettled (to the central asian republics) retained a large degree of ****geneity and cultural identity as 'Soviet Koreans' with their own ethnic collective farms, villages, etc.
