This is just awful. I really hope he pulls through and they get the financial assistance they need. I hope he can recover. It's good to see Sergio helping out. He's a good man.

Absolutely tragic news. Hopefully Mago can recover from this unfortunate ordeal.

Sampson is one of the good guys in boxing and it is a terrific idea to set up a fund to raise money. It is another tragedy in itself that his status as a fighter did not grant him insurance to cover these costly medical bills.

                help the man

I agree. Every boxing fan who is able should give what they can. A small amount can add up if enough people give. This also brings up the point that all professional boxers should be covered medically for injuries suffered while engaging in their sport just as other major sports do. Sometimes a promoter will help out when something like this happens. Hope thats the case here also.

Very nice gesture on behalf of all of them but wasn't the cards main promoters K2 Promotions? The Klitschko's should be the ones footing the the bill for his medical expenses. Isn't there any kind of insurance involved with these cards in order to cover these sort of tragic occurrences?

In my opinion they're the ones who have blood on there hands.
