If he fights and defeats Froch i think it's safe to say he is #6 pfp with Floyd, Ward, Gonzalez, Wlad, and Rigo all ahead of him.

Somewhere from 8 to 14... or so
Sorry but my only measure stick is the "current" resume (their last 4-5 fights) of the fighters I don't give a damn about eye test. And maybe Golovkin beats these opponents impressively but in my scoring system Canelo's win over Lara or Trout will put him above Golovkin simply because they were tougher opponents (in my opinion) than anybody Golovkin faced so far. So in my system level of opposition > how convincing he beat them. "how convincingly he beat them" is only getting interesting when the two guys have about the same resume and then the "convincingness" factor can be the decider. If that's equal as well then comes the "eye test".
Exception: When I think that a fight was a robbery. For example I rate Danny Garcia lower right now and Peterson higher because on my scorecard Danny lost that fight and he also drew with Herrera. So in my scoring system (not surprisingly) resumes based on my opinion > official resumes.
Oh yeah and if a fighter is inactive over a year I take him off of my lists. And one other thing: I won't rate down a fighter automatically if he loses to a fighter who was above him on the list even before the fight. That's why I don't rate Pacquioa lower after May second. It can be happen that Rigo, or the returner Ward gets above him with one-two good wins but only because Pac lost to Mayweather he won't be graded lower automatically.
So that's my rating system.

He isn't in mine
1)Floyd Mayweather
2)Andre Ward(he is still the second best fighter overall in the game, yes he has been inactive but his resume surpasses a lot of others and he is still fresh and young, he'll come back strong)
3)Wladimir Klitschko
4)Roman Gonzalez
5) Guillermo Riogondeaux
6)Juan Francisco Estrada
7)Sergey Kovalev
8)Manny Pacquaio
9)Canelo Alvarez
10)Terrence Crawford
I don't look at all the ko's and the WBA trinket....he didn't beat anyone worth much for the title, never beat a champion for a title, has only faced and defeated 4 top ten contenders in almost 35 fights.....his level of competition for his age, skill set, and hype leaves much to be desired....he could be in Crawford's tenth spot, but Crawford has won titles the WBO titles at 135 and 140, was ring champion at lightweight

A lot of these lists have held off on Golovkin and Kovalev for while, eventually they just said "fuck it, they're good" and put them in the top 5 or 10. I think I'd put Golovkin 7-10, Kovalev about 5-7 but as I said, I don't have a list.
