    WBC heavyweight champion Vitali Klitschko (45-2, 41KOs), 40-years-old, says he is poised to make an announcement about his next fight and when it's going to happen. Vitali's mandatory challenger is Bermane Stiverne.

    At a special press conference at the WBC's Convention in ****kok, Thailand, sitting beside Executive Secretary Mauricio Sulaiman, Vitali praised President Jose Sulaiman and said everyone's thoughts are with him, wishing him a speedy recovery from heart surgery.

    Vitali's injured right hand is looking much better. The swelling which was very evident when he visited the WBC offices some weeks ago, has now noticeably subsided. Based on his comments, Vitali appears likely to defend his title next year. [Click Here To Read More]

          I have a tough time seeing that because this is a PPV fight & haye is going to make lots of money. I believe his purse is 5-7 million pounds before the PPV... can't see him pulling out of this one...too much money on the line for this fight not to happen... I think vitali will fight stiverne. if he wins that fight & haye wins then maybe they fight but i'm thinking stiverne could be it. vitali already got an extension & his last mandatory was solis in 2011. stiverne & king won't let haye step in unless they are getting a million or more to step aside...

                      he'll have diplomatic immunity though, not sure if it would be legal for another boxer to fight him

                              I would be extremely happy to see him fight again. I wonder if he's still in his 2011-2012 shape, that would be great!

                              Vitali the politician doesn't interest me at all though...
