guess he's not as popular as we thought
He has every right to feel salty for once, when I Like Shoes Canelo outdraws him massively, coming off his career moment.

I didn't ask you to believe my guesstimate. I don't care if you believe my guesstimate. I was simply stating my opinion just like you and all the other clowns who post on this site.

Every time Arum has released PPV numbers in the past, the numbers have always been off by at least 30 percent when they were finally given by the network. So, what Bob did was stop allowing networks to release the numbers on Pacquaio fights. Bob Arum has been proven to be a consistent liar. That is why don't believe this number.

350,000 is the number Bob Arum mentioned before the fight took place and tat just happens to be the number they come out with after the fight. That is not a coincidence. Now, you tell me why you choose to believe the word of an admitted liar and briber when it comes to Pacqauio and Top Rank fights, but refuse to believe a promoter when it comes to Mayweather fights?
Do you have a source on when Schaefer claimed Mayweather-Guerrero did over a million buys? There was a lot of skepticism about that precisely because no number was ever officially released. To this day I don't think the number was officially released, most experts pegged that fight at 850k buys.

Predictions aren't just numbers pulled out of thin air. Promoters have a good idea of how their fights will do, it's not like boxing is some kind of speculative business. Guys command certain rates because the promoters know their drawing power.

There's always a possibility that Top Rank are lying about their numbers... but where's your evidence? You're just calling them liars because they're liars. Feel free to have your own opinion, as long as you realize it's going to mean less than the direct word of Top Rank's vice president.

This fight should have never been on PPV. A PPV fight needs to generate at least 500k for it to be worthy of being a PPV.

Steve Kim reported 375k a week ago I think and Dan Rafael has been floating around 350kish for a while now.

Marquez is a big star in Mexico - one of the largest boxing markets on Earth. Not bad. Definitely not great.
