Keith thurman breaks down the art of taking a good shot

Keith Thurman is one of the most ordinary, overrated fighters I have ever seen. He's not more skilled than Maidana, has a very poor jab, is extremely predictable, throws the same ordinary punches after a predictable rhythm where he squares his feet. Honestly I don't see what everyone else seems to be seeing. His hand speed and power is good but I just don't see much versatility and the ability to adjust that others do.He's a lot more skilled than Maidana and Margs though. That's the difference. We've got a guy who not only can punch, but we've got a guy that can also box, dance, and **** on the inside, intelligently. We've got a guy who can make adjustments on the fly. He's got a lot more to prove, but the kid is skilled. With the modern greats retiring soon, I don't see why Keith wouldn't be elite at 47 with Pacquiao, Cotto, Mayweather out of the picture. At 54, I wouldn't favor him against Trout, Canelo or Lara, but Keith is a tough challenge for Tim, Adriean and Devon. He could definitely be an elite Welter in the coming years.Comment

all that you guys say is dead-on,,, you make great points, i just dont think he will be elite p4p,,, maybe an elite upper-tier welter, thats a reasonable choice, but just not top level,,, like spray resistance said "he needs to tighten the defense"He's a lot more skilled than Maidana and Margs though. Not sure to be honest, Maidana has better power but he might be too small for Thurman.
