Why is this thread descended into talk about Ortiz? KeepItObjective, you really do obsess over certain things don't you?

Theoretically Ortiz should beat Bradley. But Bradley would find a way to win and more importantly, Victor would find a way to lose.

          Hit harder? No

          Faster = No/around the same

          Footspeed/footwork = Around the same

          Strength/size = Ortiz easy

          Technique/punch variety = Ortiz easy

Chin? = Bradley but Bradley couldn't punch his way out of a paper bag

          Ortiz beats Bradley EASY.
When I read highlighted I just started laughing...Poor kid don't know what he's watching..Ortiz has some of the worse footwork in the sport..

I stopped reading at "Tim Bradley isn't a top 10 guy at welterweight." I understand that everyone's entitled to their own opinion but I don't know how you could honestly hold that one if you've watched boxing for more than a year.

Now I'm seeing people say that Ortiz could beat Bradley? Ortiz couldn't beat Peterson, a guy Bradley dominated. He lost to Josecito Lopez; does anyone think Lopez on his best night would beat Bradley on his worst?

A guy who only falls short to Pacquiao and Mayweather is elite to me

Styles make fights holmes, Bradley is overrated, Ortiz is simply better. And Ortiz did beat Peterson and knocked his ass down that was a BS decision when Peterson was beginning to cycle those roids into his system. And Lopez was just an off day.

Ortiz is better by what measure? Not by accomplishment. Are we talking eye test here or what?

Ortiz has never beaten a fighter as good as Devon Alexander; he's lost to fighters that would never beat Bradley. I would pick Tim over Maidana or Lopez any day of the week.

Again, common opponent time: Bradley schooled Peterson (and also put him down), it was a wide fight that you could give maybe 3 rounds to Peterson. Ortiz let his foot off the gas and got a draw for it.

You say he had an off-night against Lopez but really it was an off year-and-a-half. He's finally returning against Alfonso Gomez but until now he hasn't been in the boxing scene at all. The guy has one foot out the door of the sport already. And you would pick him over Bradley? No way.

                      Well, you're opinion is wrong...

But in all seriousness, how can he possibly not be top 10 at 147? Who at 147 beats him? Only Manny and Floyd are for sure, everyone else at best is maybe

He did better against Manny than Cotto, Margarito, Clottey, and basically everyone Manny has fought above 130 other than Marquez, so clearly he's got something if it isn't skill

No power, sure, but neither does Floyd... Hell, neither does Muhammad Ali... What does that have to do about anything?

He isn't "slick" is kind of a single minded statement... He can fight in any style, so to say he's not slick just becuz he isn't always slick is being petty... He's been slick in all his fights but Provo, and his slickness simply wasn't effective against Manny becuz of Manny's physical gifts. Just becuz he gets hit doesn't mean he's not slick... I mean somebody recently made a thread saying JCC was slick, and if he's slick what is Bradley?

You're comparing him to, like, Roy Jones or something, he isn't on that level... But as far as THIS generation is concerned, he's elite.

Top 3 p4p? Maybe not, but top 10... Absolutely

U don't beat JMM fresh from knocking out Manny Pacquiao unless you have the skills to crack the top 10 on the p4p list
