Stevens only connected once with big power that i saw.
Which is it, Steven's punch or Golovkin's chin

Stevens hit GGG with some punches that pushed him back and he also landed some solid jabs and body punches. Stevens has a hell of a punch and it looks like GGG takes a really good shot. Stevens went 8 rounds which exceeded what many expected. I picked GGG by around the 6th with body punches. He, Kovalev, and Adonis Stevenson fights would be brutal. But GGG doesn't look to have issues making 160 so we may not see those fights and they would have to meet him at 168. Canelo, Martinez, and Quillin are it for now. I think with Martinez's injuries and age catching up, I'd have to go with GGG. The Martinez of 2 years ago is very hard to beat. Quillin it seems is the easiest of the bunch. But I think Canelo would be very difficult. Ward is like a Rubik's Cube, till I see someone close to solving him, I wont pick against him.Comment

Oh god why.cant it be.both?
Stevens hits hard enough to make ggg cautious. And buckled ggg just a bit, cant remember which round. Hit him flush
Like lucas vs danny: lucas packs a bazooka, but garcias chin is world class.Comment

Not that it would've made any difference but Stevens never landed his Sunday punch. He landed several hard shots, but nothing KO-inducing.Comment

I cant say for sure. But he seems to have buckled ggg just a bit in the 6th, i believe.Comment

Technically, nobody knew just how good GGG's chin was but it couldn't be bad considering that he claims he's never been down or even hurt in an amateur or pro fight in his life.
Stevens can flat out punch, period, and he couldn't even get Tripple G to blink.
That says it all.Comment

Triple G chin is good. Steven's can punch but he was getting over-rated before the fight to sell it.
Steven caught Triple G a few times and had his attentionComment

I wouldn't say that his chin is underrated, everybody knows GGG spars heavy weights.
Stevens power is legit, it's just Golovkin has adamantium whiskers. There was two shots in particular a left and a right hook landed in the 4th and 5th round respectively, that were huge punches that pushed GGG back a bit, those shots would put down hard, every other middleweight in the top 10! (Not including Chavez Jr, who I don't see making 160 again)Comment
