I'd rather see them push for a Mayweather fight. Meet at 157.. And before he moves up I would love to see Gennady fight Chavez or Martinez. He needs to go about this the right way, he can't go up to 168 and then back down and up again. Try to get a fight with Mayweather or Canelo at 157, fight with Chavez or Martinez at 160 then make the move.

      geale

      would all be good matchups

plus throw in rubio, lee, vera as possible stay busy fights

I just think he can lay waste to the mw division, but at 168 there are some real deal fighters there that are bigger and far more experienced in long tough fights at the highest level,,,,

GGG should stick to 160 for the next 18 months or so,,, unless chavez jr wants some at 168,,, that would be a fight worth coming up for, but i would stay away from ward and froch for the time being,,

They don't have to worry the money will be there. HBO has wanted this fight, at least this whole year. I think Ward's style gives Golovkin all the problems in the world.

He's faster and keeps moving forward, no way GGG keeps SOG on the ropes, thats when stevens was effective, in the middle of the ring.. Would love to see that fight

Ward and Froch would both KO Golovkin. All Golovkin had fought is bums, when he finally steps it up he's going to get caught.

People moan about golovkin not fighting anyone at middleweight yet, then they are asking him to move up and fight froch and ward? Is this so they can accuse him of avoiding tough fights at middle? Martinez, pirog, Jacobs, quillin, Murray, barker, geale, sturm, Chavez, Vera, Rubio. There are a ton of fights for GGG at middle, the chance to unify and the chance to win the lineal title. Ward has unified, won the lineal title and cleared out the division, outside of the dirrel brothers. Froch has unified and attempted to become lineal king, falling well short. Why is no one asking for them to move up to light heavy? They have both well established themselves at supermiddle, instead of people trying to push GGG to move up before he has made his mark at middle, ask these two to move up and test themselves.

He has to beat a top 10 to get Floyd and it definitely won't happen at 157. The chavez jr fight could probably happen at 165 and that would be exciting. Chavez has the reach advantage as is strong enough to do damage

Hi there. I'm just wondering if you could translate this into English? Your post sounds fascinating. Thanks "dawg"

Let Golovkin fight Murray and Quillin/Jacobs and then move on to the more exciting 168 division. For now he should have at least two more fights at 160.

I think Golovkin would make a pancake out of Froch's face. Froch would only use his jab to keep the distance and win by decision. But guess what? Golovkin has excellent footwork, he can cut off the ring, and jab the hell out of Froch. I really doubt that Froch yould take this fight, stylistically he doesn't match up at all with Golovkin.

Ward is a completely different business. This would be a very technical fight and a very hard one for both fighters.

Golovkin should fight Froch first. My dreamd would be Golovkin vs Mayweather at 154. This would simply be a huge fight for the boxing audience!

I like GGG but I think Ward and Froch might be a little 2 much.
