I see GGG winning this as Canelo wouldnt have the power to hurt him at this stage. I think Canelo would be there for him to hit all night as well and whilst he has shown decent durability at lmw, he has been wobbled in the past. I dont see him trying or being able to box and move enough for him to stay out of harms way.

Canelo is also pretty young and has plenty of time to rebuild, if he does the weight properly and develops well at MW he could make a very interesting fight and possibly beat GGG, but not now. We'll just have to see what pans out, I guess.

I agree that canelo is a decent boxer,, he has won some good fights, but he is not on the level of a manny or ggg,,,, true monsters that destroy guys,,,,,

Canelo has never been a dominant force with soft touches like hatton and rhodes, so how does he expect to beat a guy like ggg that has shredded his soft touches,,,,,,

I think canelo would have his hands full with rosada and stevens,,,

but I think Canelo is a good boxer, maybe not the beast he was made out to be, but he still has a chance to prove us wrong.

but Triple G wud be one step to far for him, although I would so love to see it lol
He's a solid boxer, but not what he was brought up/made up to be. He definitely has a chance to prove everyone wrong, there is no shame losing to Floyd, but IMO I don't think he will and I think Canelo will lose to some of the guys with pulses who are out there right now. That's just me, though

hmmmmm.... Who will win this fight?
He was not dropped. You Nelo haters need to let go of this already. Canelo was in trouble for about 20 seconds. This is as bad as Mayweather "almost" loosing to Mosley because he was rocked once in the fight. smh.

If Canelo could fix his stamina issues this would look something like Garcia(Canelo) vs Mathysse(GGG), minus the knockdown.

Triple G will KO Canelo in my book, but Nelo is being downplayed where as before the Floyd fight he was made out to be a beast
lol who considered him a beast?.....really?...jeez

if anything , he has always been viewed a hypejob...nothing changed

Chavez Jr. is now at 168 lb division and still can't make weight. Canelo is at 154 lbs. Maybe if they met in the middle at 160 then maybe but Chavez Jr. would probably be too drained to be effective.

Much correctness in your critique. I don't see anyone at, or around his weight, who could withstand his multi-faceted attack. I hear of Ward being too much for him, but even that is hard for me to see. If I were asked to build an ideal of what a proffessional fist fighter would look like, Golovkin would be closest to that ideal.
