I think Alvarez suffers much the same fate as Stevens, he is too small and too compact to go up against a fully fledged, 5'11'' middleweight who hits hard.

I see a lot of similarities between the 2...both are very methodical but I voted for GGG because he's bigger & has shown a better chin. A lot of people are $h!tting on Canelo after the Floyd fight but just like everybody else...he lost to the p4p best fighter...no shame in that. I looked at both guys in the same light.

Canelo has no power, his power is a myth and everyone saw that he had no effect on Mayweather at all. If GGG hits Mayweather Floyd will know it! I assure you.
GGG stops Canelo leave Canelo alone and let him get to 25 & 27 years old then we'll see if he's the real thing. When kids like Canelo and Broner are in the limelight before their matured as fighters everyone expects to much. Forget all these retarted titles and see if they improve as their opposition improves. Then you'll make a better evaluation on them. Ray

Floyd's chin is made of GRANITE. The right hand Mosley hit Floyd would put most to sleep. Canelo hit Floyd quite a few hard shots but hey just bounced off. Floyds most underrated attribute is his chin.

I am a fan of Canelo but GGG is my favorite. I think GGG can beat anyone who fights at 160 or 168 and no 154 pounder can go the full 12 rounds with him. GGG knocks out Canelo just as he knocks out Mayweather, Cotto, and Martinez. If you want a fighter to get knocked out just match him with GGG. Cotto was in good shape for Trout he just got beat by a better fighter and in the garden no less. He was trained by the same guy that trained him for Mayweather and everyone thought he fought well then.

Canelo's power is no myth. He hits hard with both hands as Trout and Baldomir and Lopez will all tell you if asked.Lopez said Canelo hit much harder than Ortiz and Ortiz is a hard puncher. Yes,Mayweather beat Canelo by a one sided ud. That does not make Canelo a harmless pushover.
