Lets be honest, curtis stevens wanted out in the 2nd round

If he wanted out....he would have quit. But he didn't. He stuck in there for another 6 rounds. If anybody cared to watch any of his other fights, you'd see that he spends a lot of his time in the High Guard and fights off the ropes against pressure fighters. That's the way he fights.Comment

quitting in boxing is easy. turn your back, wave your hands, say "no mas." it's easy.
it's a hell of a lot easier than coming back out for six more rounds of a life changing beating.
stevens is f#cking hurting right now because he's a brave son of a b#Tch and stayed in the fight.Comment

In that moment I think he wanted his corner to take him out. They didn't and he made a hell of an effort to get back into a fight he couldn't win. Very brave performance.Comment

it looked like he was looking at the clock.
if you want the fight stopped you can get it stopped.Comment

By putting his back against the ropes and occasionally throwing some punches? All he did was make an effort not to get KO'd sillyComment

He did alright, he has a bit shaken after the KD but it looked to me like he figured he would fight carefully and look for that counter left hook which worked but the problem is GGG took it so well and Stevens you can see really believes in that punch so when it wasn't effective he had no answers and just shelled up the last couple rounds.Comment

Man, I was not expecting Stevens to get up from that KD, let alone stay in the fight for as long as he did. Matter of fact when he started tagging GGG with some shots I honestly thought he was making his way back into the fight.Comment
