Comments Thread For: Lucas Browne: Line Up Fury, Price, Chisora - Then Haye!

Australian Lucas Browne stopped Richard Towers in the fifth round of their Commonwealth heavyweight title eliminator in Hull. Browne finally tagged his man at the end of third with a short right hook and sent Towers wobbling back across the ring and on to the ropes, with the bell eventually saving the Englishman. But that warning was not heeded and Browne got the job done in devastating style at the start of the fifth as he trapped his man on the ropes and then unloaded with a spiteful barrage.

Browne is way too confident. Maybe he beats one of them from the bunch, probably Price but the rest would take him with ease.

browne isn't even the best fighter in the Asian\pacific region let alone the commonwealth countries. there is alex leapai (WBO #9 Asian pacific\oriental champion), david tua, joseph parker, chauncy welliver, shane Cameron...

I like Browne he seems like a good guy

I don't think he'd beat any of them though except maybe Price

Haye vs Browne would be a sickening mismatch, Browne couldnt land one punch and Haye would land everything he threw

browne reminds me of lance whitaker. he is big & powerful but has not much else to offer. he is slow, doesn't move his head & is a huge target. he will feast on most of the journeymen but he will have troubles above the domestic level as his lack of speed will get exposed rather quickly. I don't think he beats any of the brits he mentioned...

I reckon Price would beat Browne, good fight if it happens though. Would like to see Towers back in the mix against someone like Chisora?

Chisora deserves a better fight than Towers once he gets past his next opponent this month. I wouldn't mind seeing Chisora vs Mike Perez.
