But you know what/ thats the reason I liked Taylor because he wasnt over defensive like some of these other booring fighters he was a good boxer and he was entertaining.
Would Meldrick have beat JCC if he wasnt so brave?

Taylor had won the fight already, by not trading, he would of just made sure of that, he took a risk, and gave them a chance to take it.Comment

all the judges have taylor winning the fight... if i remember correctly...Originally posted by Gunstar1Chavez would've probably still win, because if he won against Whitaker, then I don't see how he would've not won against Taylor. It's all in the judges hands.Comment

Actually, he would've won by split decision. He was up by 5 on 1 card, and 6 on another. So, even with a 10-8 or 10-7 round, he had it locked up. Richard Steele robbed him, and how Chuck Giampa had Chavez up going into the last round, I have no idea. But, you do make a good point about horrible judges in Chavez fights. Unfortunatley for Meldrick, the rematch was like 5 years later, and Taylor had been stopped a couple of times in that time frame, including very early by Terry Norris.Originally posted by Gunstar1Chavez would've probably still win, because if he won against Whitaker, then I don't see how he would've not won against Taylor.
