And he's been no where near as childish as Groves was tonight.

Groves had double standards, he said "The difference between mine and Carl's situation and the Froch-Calzaghe situation is I'm actually the #1 mandatory contender, I didn't trash talk my way to this shot (Yes he did)"

Froch then replied with "I'm a bit confused as to why that's different, because I was the #1 contender for Calzaghe's WBC title belt."

George then said "I didn't say that" despite literally just saying exactly that.

To me, that was the best part of the whole show.
I just saw it back, and must admit I saw it wrong the first time. I was watching it on a stream and it just seemed like Froch's voice was breaking and he was being a bit of a *****.

But watching it back, jesus, Groves is clutching at straws. It was indeed cringeworthy, especially the last part about the crying. Damn George. I will say though that Froch said it was a completely different situation and then turned around and said it was the same situation. Which it was.

I agree. Groves was digging a hole. I didn't notice it the first time I watched it, but he didn't look to great.

He did say that. He consistently elluded to the fact that it's 3 weeks out, the time to talk is over and we will find out who's the better man in the ring.

The only things he didn't have a comeback to was just pathetic attempts at Groves trying to get a reaction and failing miserabley.

Groves kept constantly saying "I've seen his weaknesses, I know how to exploit them"
Groves is clearly beginning to take the role as the antagonist. He's miles away from the humble boy who sat in one of the ugliest suits I've ever seen, being the underdog vs DeGale. It helped him to take that role in that fight.

He was really clutching at straws, and Froch did just laugh it off. Like he should. He did get a bit riled up as you could hear his voice breaking a bit and he was breathing heavily. In the end, I think he just though "wtf is going on?" because it really came from nowhere from Groves.

Everyone there just seemed embarrassed at Groves, I was embarrassed at Groves and he himself should be embarrassed when he watches it back.

Froch dealt with it perfectly, he's been here a over and over he's a proven elite level fighter and multiple world champion. The best way to deal with that kind of thing is dismiss it.
It was hard even watching it on playback. It is probably one of the most cringeworthy things i've seen on TV. Closely followed by David Haye stepping up at the post-presser with Klitschko to show his little toe.

I genuinely don't know what Groves tried to achieve by doing that. Froch is a proud man, and he will have been irritated with Groves behavior tonight. Will be funny to see how he channels that aggression in the ring.

I've genuinely never seen Froch be like this before a fight. Not even with Dirrell who was an annoying SOB as well.

I haven't watched it yet but I'm sure Groves will have embarrassed himself again. At least this way he can get used to the feeling before being utterly humiliated in the ring.

I think Groves has a style that can make Froch look VERY BAD but after hearing that Groves is no longer with Booth...I think Froch walks him down and stops him late but if Groves can avoid his Power I think Groves can out-box him and stick and move but I don't know if he can do it for 12 Rounds

Groves might be able to frustrate Froch for a while but ultimately he's getting Bute'd

I was just cringing the whole way through.

Froch definitely got a little agitated near the end. I'm not surprised to be honest it was very annoying and talking a load of bull****.

But overall he dealt with the ******ity really well I felt.

Groves was dying I get a reaction and when failing miserably it's like he was anxiously trying his hardest, genuinely pathetic.

I'd imagine the general public won't be pleased with his actions.
