Correction floyd did not get dropped in the Mosley fight- he got hurt then proceded to make a in round adjustment and had Mosley backing up by the end of the round. If GGG fights Ward he will get exposed - see when you are at the level GGG / ward / mayweather etc. You have to face better opposition and different styles . I do not on paper see anyone at 160 besides Martinez beating him (gotta give the champ the benefit of the doubt) but if he moves up there are some fighters that will truly test him to show us how good he really is

Abel Sanchez is getting up there in the PFP annoying trainers list.

Abel and K2 hypes Golovkin up because Golovkin himself is a reserved guy. All Golovkin does is smile and pose for cameras. He needs a team to get word out for him. They are willing to make themselves annoying to get Golovkin attention. The more attention Golovkin gets, they more they make.

It is also working, I have noticed every time Golovkin steps into the ring, there is more and more buzz about him. Even his detractors in here will tune in to watch him fight, looking for the tiniest of mistakes. So they can go through the video in Slo Motion and continue their propaganda :-) Floyd had to go through the same thing. If Floyd even got hit with 1 solid punch, there would be a 100 threads saying his defense is full of holes.

If Golovkin wins, it will get followed up by about 10 bannings here. If he loses, expect the troll banning numbers to increase 5 fold. I like to imagine Reed, Boston, BPP and Bringer have some sort of advanced flow chart, with "hyped and hated" fighters always knocking down the forum population. The trolls cannot help but stepping over the line in times of a fight. This give the Admins the excuse to get rid of some of them. hehe

All of the other top middleweights were either already booked or just straight out not wanting to fight Golovkin. So Curtis Stevens isn't a bad choice under those circumstances.

Personally I think Curtis will at least do better than Macklin did. All he has to do is not get stopped within 3 rounds.

The only way Stevens can be easier than Macklin is if he gets in the ring and proceed to lay on the floor and let the ref count to 10. Macklin did not come to fight. I suspect Stevens is coming to fight. With that being said, other than a lucky punch, I don't see how Stevens come out on top.

Triple G should get the Martinez fight NEXT or after one more if Sergio can't fight until JUNE.

Both Sergio and GGG are HBO fighters so I don't see May JR getting to Sergio the OLD before GGG.

I am gonna enjoy watching GGG destroy this fool Stevens with all his RIP garbage.

Its more like when Bhop beat Pavlik who was considered a boogeyman - when bhop beat trinidad, it give you a glimpse at a style or gameplan that can confuse and beat them. This is why floyd is considered so good because he takes away your weapons and is constantly making adjustments lets say 2 moves ahead of you - this why bhop has been able to stay so long in the game

Stevens will not only lose, he's going to get hurt badly. Macklin would beat Stevens, too.

                      i dont agree

with sanchez. Stevens earned this fight by doing what he had to do vs the opponents he faced. you cant argue that and if you do, youre bias. And if sanchez really felt that he's a mut, a good b fighter etc, why did they accept the fight?!?!?!? I feel ggg will win, big, but im very curious to see how ggg reacts when/if stevens lands a flush shot as golovkin really hasnt had his chin tested.....
