Rios survived, Pacquaio didn't knock him out, but that's because Rios decided to forgo high volume punching and associated potential payoff's to maintain his defense.
Not going back through this thread to see the people who disagree with you, because they are dead wrong. Rios was a zombie in the championship rounds, the guy had been beaten down to nothing. He obviously was hurt by what Pac was throwing.

Pac didn't knock him out because he wasn't trying to, though. If he was trying to, he wouldn't have backed off like he did so many times.

    • Highlight of the fight was Beckham in the crowd.

Yeah this is a good assessmant. I was wrong on this fight. I assumed manny would krtfo without much of a problem. Didn't expect smart fighting. Kudos to manny and his team.

If I'm being honest, I don't think Pac looked as sharp as he did against Marquez, though that probably has more to do with motivation than anything else.

              this.

if $70 was a game changing amount of money i wouldn't spend as much time on boxingscene.

if you're a fan of a fighter youshould buy his ppv as long as they aren't absolutely absurd. manny was coming off of a knockout loss. he needed a lighter touch, and rios is a big, determined punching bag.
