That fight made SRL look like a sucker to me, and its not like he showed otherworldly defense, skills, ring i.q. in that fight. He ran around the ring with that scared facial expression, then all of a sudden he realizes that he can hurt Herns, so he starts coming forward with an exaggerated mean face like he's billy bad azz. He looked like a clown for that. Whether Floyd can hurt you, or not hurt you, he has an effortless look on his face. Like he doesnt care, and no matter what happens he will just be cool and calm. He doesnt add any special affects to the situation with all that circus crap SRL used to do, and SRL did that mess allot btw.Comment

If Duran beat Leonard, and I'm not taking anything away from the great Manos De Piedra, Floyd definitely finds a way to beat him. For some reason we tend to put boxers from the past on unreachable pedestals but when you look at their fights you realize today's boxers would compete at ah high level with them with a real chance of beating them.
Floyd is as a big a phenomenon (if not bigger) talent wise as there was in the past. I don't like his style or Floyd but you have to admit his talent level is up to par with any of the all time greats.Comment

Floyd can't fight on the defensive, which could be bad for him. Leonard was a natural WW who threw fast flurries, I doubt Floyd would hurt the man to be honest.
Floyd would really have to show us what he's made of.Comment

floyd would never fight leonard the way duran fought leonard. it would be suicide.Comment

I mean I respect the opinions of those who think Floyd could win, and I could see why, it's not outlandish or crazy to think so.
But lets be real, who was a better resume? Ray Leonard hands down.
Ray Leonard also just happens to do everything Floyd can do but do better.
Pros for eachfighter....
Ray Leonard
1. Talller
2. Longer Reach
3. Better Footwork
4. More power
5. Better resume, has "fought better competition"
6. Faster Hand Speed
7. Throws efficently in combinations
8. Good Defense
9. Better chin, just because Ray has taken punches from some of the
most powerful WWs in history.
10. Better stamina, only because he was able to maintain high levels of activity, while Floyd does not.
Floyd Mayweather
1. Better counter puncher
2. Better defense
Floyd is also a slightly better boxer than Ray Leonard, but not by much, so I would call it even.
I just don't see it ending too well for Floyd, maybe a 12UD for Ray or KO for Ray.Comment

Our man 'Golovkin' simply demonstrating why Non-Stop Boxing is the leading force as far as comprehensive and intelligent analysis/discussion relating to the sport of boxing.
Do you make a conscious effort to be an absolute moron or does it come natural to your sort? The above sentence that I'm quoting is about as ******, ignorant and ludicrous as anything that I've actually ever read, period.
Don't pretend to have even have the slightest bit of understanding of what "ring i.q." actually is because you are utterly clueless.Comment

It's tough to form legitimate arguments b/c of the difference in competition.Comment
