In response to the thread: Leonard fought a bigger, stronger, and equally slick version of Mayweather in Benitez. Very competitive fight, but Leonard out-boxed him, and he'd likely do the same with Floyd.

HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! Benitez is NO WHERE NEAR as good as Floyd, and you just admitted that his fight with SRL was VERY competitive. SRL couldnt even land a JAB on Duran who was a cherrypick, could you imagine the trouble he would have with Floyd? Had trouble with Benitez's boxing, could you imagine the trouble he would have with Floyd?

As far as Duran's heart, we know how he quite from being frustrated. I will let you quit if your being brutalized, but not quit from being frustrated. Dude is a disgrace to boxing!!

I don't know, Floyd hasn't really fought anyone half as good as SRL, we would never really know how good Floyd is because he ducked the only fighter that could have given him a worthy fight.

Only one issue, Floyd will not be the bigger, taller, long and HARD KO puncher like Hearns was, he will be a shorter, softer puncher without a killer instict like hearns had.

oh and that one thing your forgetting the fact that floyd is one top defensive fighters of all time

Leonard I think beats him and beats him easily. They both have great speed..but Floyd rarely throws more than one or two or at most three at 147. He pot shots whereas Leonard will rip of combos and if he has you hurt he will go hell for leather to finish you...just check out Leonard vs Hearns 1..leonard went on a ferocious onslaught towards the end to Ko a prime Hearns.

Feet I give to Leonard, he was younger at 147 then floyd and I think Floyd may have lost a step or two...

Chin to Leonard too. He took fierce punches of brutal ko artists like Duran,Hagler,Benitez and Hearns and although stunned sometimes never looked badly hurt...Floyd was almost down against Mosely..with respect Mosely's right hand is not in the same league as Hearns.
