You mean how SRL ducked and dodged, and cherrypicked his way through boxing? Every top fighter SRL fought, he cherrypicked at the right time. MUCH worse than Floyd. I think Floyd is so good that anyone he fights people say its a cherrypick. SRL is not really a beast the way you all portrait him and I just cant see Floyd ducking a fighter of that calbier. He would probably look at that as a tailor made fight tbh. Then after the fight he gets no credit.

I really don't like your disrespect of Duran in that last post (calling his a quitter and a disgrace to boxing is hands down one of the worst comments I have seen on this site).

With that said, SRL did cherry pick a lot of his fights and dodge fighters as well. People bash Floyd for something Leonard was notorious for.

Im okay with you quitting if your taking damage like Alvarado and Dawson, but quitting for being humiliated and being a sore loser? If he did that in this era, he would be the laughing stock of social media. I hate how people act like he was some beast, he wasnt.

The only way is if it's the Leonard from the Camacho fight weight rained down to 152. Then Floyd wins a safety first decision.

People mainly point to Floyd's lack of combination punch output today. However he's shown he doesn't always need it. Mayweather has better defense enough to make SRL miss. It would be a good and close fight. Either way in my opinion.

Yeah, that's the only reason Canelo lost right?

Leonard is a better offensive fighter, has a better jab (and that is a tool that will make this very competive for the first 4-5 rounds. I could break this down more, if you like but here is the deal:

I just thought about every scenario in which this fight could play out.

If it's on the inside, Leonard is not stronger than Floyd and Floyd is better in the pocket/has a better inside fighting game.

If these guys are in the center of the ring, in a thinking/chess match....Floyd easily beats him.

If this fight is fought on the outside, while Leonard could beat Floyd in this type of fight due to his great jab and footwork, Floyd is quicker, is better at establishing range and actually has better footwork than Leonard.

The only real scenario in which I see Leonard winning is if he tries to make this a rugged fight, but Floyd is too crafty to let the fight turn into something like that.

Again we can go back in forth on which fighter is better at what, but regardless of how you think this fight will start, it will ultimately turn into a center of the ring chess match. Floyd is more skilled, has higher ring IQ, makes better adjustments and has better timing.
You keep saying that floyd would turn it into a chess match, and is much smarter,,, but leonard is the one that has been all styles and numerous in their prime ATGs

If floyd can turn any fight into a chess match, then why did he struggle with JLC, and an old faded oscar and cotto, gave floyd all he could handle,,, anytime floyd has stepped up to elite competition he has never dominated clearly,,,
whitewashing canelo and ghost is very impressive,, they are good fighters but not exactly elite guys,,, JMM was just way too small and an easy style for floyd to beat, your not going to outbox and out counter floyd if your slow-footed and smaller and slower and less-powerful,,,

Floyd is a really great fighter, but if oscar pushed prime floyd to the ropes and had some moments, then no doubt a prime leonard would do the same and would be faster and more powerful than oscar,,,

Floyd just doesnt match up well vs SRL in any category,, you can say he is more skilled and smarter, but thats not really the case,,, floyd fights good fighters but non are threatening an non have been on the level of a duran, benitez, hearns, hagler, or even ayuble,,,, Floyd does masterpieces vs limited guys,,, gatti, baldomir, canelo, ghost, corrales,, but he never pitches a shut out vs an oscar, cotto, hatton, JLC ,,, Everytime floyd fights a top level guy it is competitve,, yes floyd wins but lets not act like he turns every fight into a chess match and wins 120-108 or 119-109 everytime,,, plus no one on his resume is even good enough to be in SRL's top 5 wins,, SRL beat benitez who was a defensive wizard like floyd, and ayuble who was also very good defender,, SRL could solve a defensive whiz, who has floyd ever beaten or fought that comes close to a prime SRL in terms of athletic ability and overall skillset, and will to win,,,,, Zab and corley and augustus all tagged floyd,, Im sure SRL would be able to tag him as well, and SRL is about a million times better than all those guys,,,,,
