That fight made SRL look like a sucker to me, and its not like he showed otherworldly defense, skills, ring i.q. in that fight. He ran around the ring with that scared facial expression, then all of a sudden he realizes that he can hurt Herns, so he starts coming forward with an exaggerated mean face like he's billy bad azz. He looked like a clown for that. Whether Floyd can hurt you, or not hurt you, he has an effortless look on his face. Like he doesnt care, and no matter what happens he will just be cool and calm. He doesnt add any special affects to the situation with all that circus crap SRL used to do, and SRL did that mess allot btw.

Floyd would have to fight a near perfect fight considering ray could get you out of there late, even if he fell behind. I explained how he could beat Leonard on page 3 I believe.this being said Leonard could afford to make more mistakes. Floyd does have the style nd ring IQ to trouble ray

He really hasn't fought that many different styles of high caliber fighters. What great boxer has he fought? Who is someone with excellent speed, height, reach, that also has full fight stamina, counters, combos, jab etc?

He largely fights very similar fighters because that's what's around today. Come forward fighters.

Leonard is the guy who has truly fought the different styles and seen it all. Hearns, Duran, Hagler, Benitez. All among the greatest ever in their style and division and all completely different styles. Defensive master, slippery crafty offensive nut job, classic boxer/puncher that also happens to be incredibly tall, fast with ATG power, southpaw boxer/puncher/brawler.....it literally doesn't get any more varied. He has seen it all, while Floyd would be in completely new territory.

In comparison Floyd fights one style and one style only, and the different style guys he has fought are just on a very low level.

No they all arent come forward fighters. Ghost is aggressive but he fights nothing like Ortiz. Ortiz is a brawler who likes to bounce on his toes and box a little. Ghost is a tall tactical boxer, but when he went to ww he started to become a, long swarmer. His punches are so close together that you will have a hard time countering in between his punches. Everyone including you, thought Floyd would be shoulder rolling, fighting on the inside. I felt that if Floyd didnt make some adjustment it was NO WAY he would beat Ghost. What he did was tie him up 100% of the time he got on the inside. When he got to the ropes he just kept moving. Canelo is a big boxer, but Floyd gave him the best chance of beating him by standing in the pocket and walking him down.

You describe SRL like he's a beast, but to me he's just a guy with great speed, reflexes, power, and footwork. A fighter like that is not enough for the skills Floyd possesses. And the variation of styles that SRL fought does not range in difference. Im not saying they have the same styles as the fighters Floyd has fought, but just saying that its quite equivalent to Floyd having to fight very different styles. Except SRL had brawls, and wars, and really didnt do anything masterful.

Floyd completely compromises his style and dominates without getting GRAZED!! I have NEVER seen SRL do something that I could describe as masterful. He's just not that type of fighter. Everytime Floyd fights its masterful. And I think SRL would beat some of Floyd's opponents by stoppage, but they would be all out wars and brawls.

Everyone SRL fought was a cherrypick. People make it seem like Floyd cherrypicks random bums from mexico but thats not true. And Floyd isnt sitting on the sideline calculating like SRL did. Floyd is just so good that everyone he fights, people say its a cherrypick. SRL will literally sit and wait to fight you at the right time. HE was a REAL cherrypicker. He has NEVER fought anyone as good as Floyd, and look at his tough fights with Benitez, Floyd Sr, losses to Duran in which he couldnt even land a jab on the little guy. How mentally weak he was, how much he hated training, lacked dedication. Only started boxing at 16 or 17. Boy Floyd came out the puzzy BORN to box! ALways dedicates himself. I guess what Im trying to say is 11 rounds to 1 in favor of Floyd! No beef btw.

HAHAHAHAHA!!!! Floyd is probably 5 or 6 times BETTER than Duran man lets not troll! And Im not comparing Canelo to SRL, but Floyd took risk and went to the pocket with Canelo. Canelo looked like a giant, and Floyd looked like a baby. When SRL fought bigger guys, or guys with power, he ran around the ring because he didnt have the skills to do what Floyd does. Leonard I think beats him and beats him easily. They both have great speed..but Floyd rarely throws more than one or two or at most three at 147. He pot shots whereas Leonard will rip of combos and if he has you hurt he will go hell for leather to finish you...just check out Leonard vs Hearns 1..leonard went on a ferocious onslaught towards the end to Ko a prime Hearns.

Chin to Leonard too. He took fierce punches of brutal ko artists like Duran,Hagler,Benitez and Hearns and although stunned sometimes never looked badly hurt...Floyd was almost down against Mosely..with respect Mosely's right hand is not in the same league as Hearns.

No way does Floyd Mayweather Jr beat Leonard. Never in a million years. Mayweather, a very good, possibly great defensive fighter does not do anything better than Leonard's best opponents in Hearns, Duran and Hagler. Mayweather doesn't hit as hard, is not as quick in terms of combination punching and doesn't use the ring as well. Those four men were in a different league to any fighter I have seen post 1990.

The only person from that generation who Mayweather may have a chance of beating is the lesser man, Benitez.
