Maidana is not beating Broner thats just not going to happen; he's going to come forward to Broner and get marked up in the process.

This set-up to be a showcase fight; Maidana is a come forward fighter which is exactly what Broner wants you do. He wants to sit in the pocket and counter and maidan will give him every oppurtinity to do that. The fights he hasn't looked good is when the guys moves away ie De Leon & Paulie. The only I see him losing is if he doesn't take this fight seriously which right now is def possible.

If Broner has trouble withstanding Maidana's power he's going to have a very long night. He'll certainly not be able to avoid getting hit. Not with his gimpy footwork. Nope.

It appears that Robert/Maidana's gameplan is put on tremendous pressure every minute of every round. With Ariza backing him, I think he'll be able to stick to it unless he's getting hit with really hard counters which will force him to slow it down. One thing that was pretty noticeable in the Paulie fight was Broner refused to throw any punches while Paulie was throwing his combinations. Only later in the fight he started landing decent shots and counters.

Paulie made him reset eveytime he threw; he was never there for Broner to keep returning fire he kept making him think which in turned lowered his output. Maidana will be there whole night to hit and the difference is handspeed is why I think Broner is going to pick him apart. I think he will respect his Maidana power enough to where he won't just let him get off like he did with Gavin Rees which he knew he couldn't be hurt or even Paulie for that fact.

I just don't see Maidana losing to Broner in this fight. Unless it goes 12 and the judges rob him of a win.

Broner hasn't been in the ring with a puncher like Maidana and unless Broner trainer has this great game plan.

To use his legs and box I just don't see Broner beating Maidana.

i'm noticing a lot of fans being overconfident in a broner victory here and on youtube. it's a fight where broner can look comically bad or he'll look like a million bucks, imo.

Only time will tell but when I watch Broner fight I get the feeling he can be a great champion. If he continues to mature in the ring and become a better "thinking" fighter, he may realize his incredible potential. Meanwhile, I just don't see him losing to Maidana. Too much skill. Too much confidence I think
