Garcia may have knocked out Khan but only one of those two guys is willing to fight Mayweather. Makes my respect for Khan go up. At least between the two he believes in himself, even if the evidence suggests he is way out of his league. It's not like Khan is broke and desperate either. Khan wants to fight Mayweather now. Was disappointed to hear Garcia and his dad took a backstep when asked about a Mayweather fight instead of going for it. But at least Garcia is not in it just for the money so part of that message was a good one.

No, I responded to a post. I didn't start anything. I said what we all know is true-Manny turned down the $40 mil, no ppv offer. Your pretending semantics makes what you posted true. Sadly, in your mind it is.
Yes, floyd v khan is a crap fight that I would hope won't happen.Comment

If you going to make those comments, at least try to be objective. Floyd was in no position to be offering Manny 40 mil when they both practically command almost the same number of pay per view buys at least on the average so unlike the other guys you referred to, Manny had earned the right to accept or turn down any fight just like Floyd. Manny was never a B-side to Floyd contrary to what Floyd makes you all believe so don't let your love for Floyd cloud the facts and dilute your judgement. I will even go further to say that Manny earns his buys himself based on his popularity while Floyd relies on a popular b-side to earn his and at the end boast as though he did it on his own. The exact same reason why he is fighting Khan as oppose to the other worthy opponents. Just a lil food for thought.Manny recently turned down $40 mil no ppv offer to fight. WHen manny turns the fight down, no matter how bad the offer is, its ******, some would even argue racist, to blame floyd for this. I'm sure you don't care what people think, but I don't recall you blaming manny when others turned down fights with him, or wlad when Povetkin first turned him down.
Khan does make some good points. I think a boxer has a better chance to beat floyd than a puncher/brawler.
Its just that Khan isn't that boxer.Comment

wait, are you saying floyd wasnt offered a 50/50 fight with NSAC testing?!!No, I responded to a post. I didn't start anything. I said what we all know is true-Manny turned down the $40 mil, no ppv offer. Your pretending semantics makes what you posted true. Sadly, in your mind it is.

its awfully strange how floyd had no problem with testing until pacman came along ay?Comment

I kind of, just kind of liked the idea of this fight. Just cause Khan tends to come in aggressively with with combos and fast hands and he would have put Floyd to work early until Floyd figures his ass out after 2 or 3 rounds and puts him down multiple times or knocks his ass clean out.
But hearing this dumb mofo say you gotta beat Floyd at his own game just made me lose all interest in this fight...that's exactly what Canelo tried to do and trust me, Canelo's boxing skills and IQ are on a different level than Khan's and if he had just been more aggressive he could have at least made a more entertaining fight and given himself a punchers chanceComment

I'm saying floyd didn't turn it down-but you know this. Like you said "you could say...."
No its not funny at all. It's a reflection of he and his team's concern about illegal drug use.
This isn't the thread topic, so Lets just focus on what we agree on.
floyd v khan is a crap fight that I hope isn't made. I would prefer to see floyd fight Sergio Martinez @ 160 or Tim Bradley@147, but that isn't doable becuase of boxing politics at the moment. Assuming a rios demolishing, I'd consider a pac @147 fight next but the same politics are involved.
After that-I'd be good with floyd v danny@147, but that doesn't look like its going to be made. Probably the best match would be floyd v lara@154 but I doubt SHowtime /CBS invests in that fight because Lara's lack of popularity surely hurts the profit marginComment

Under Freddie Roach. Virgil Hunter stresses the importance of fighting smart and not wasting movement/punches.I kind of, just kind of liked the idea of this fight.
