Of course he said that. Just like Wards team said it wasnt. None of us attended the meetings so its all speculation.

If he's telling the truth then back out of the fight. Ward was desperate for a fight and HBO rejected every opponent his team brought to the table. They had plenty of negotiating power if they felt that strongly about putting it into the contract. More reason to believe he's trolling and playing mind games.

Did you hear what he said? He said he doesn't mind if Ward doesn't take the test. He's not about to back out of his big payday. I think he's more likely telling the truth, than not. He even threw Conte into the mix to back up his words. Ward just seems uninterested in taking the test. He could refuse the test just off the strength that his opponent brought it up and wants it, rather than himself. Even in Wards response, you can easily sense some ego involved, saying Rodriguez can't dictate terms.

Ward is refusing for no plausible reason other than ego, or if he's hiding something.

Conte works with a couple Virgil Hunter fighters (Angulo and Khan). Of course he's going to talk to talk Virgil about it.

He better hope that Rodriguez doesn't juice up then because Rodriguez can put Ward away with one shot.

            Speculation.

My stance has been the same. Its a fighters job to fight. Their contracts dictate the terms of the fight. The commission, promoters, managers and teams have a responsibility to protect the athletes. If they feel that their opponent is not playing fair, walk away. If not, then STFU. If money is worth putting your life at risk then that's your problem.

You can't get a fight with Donaire or Floyd unless you agree to testing. They walk away and I respect that. Yes they're the A-sides but Ward had no one else to fight. Edwin even said Ward needed him more than he needed Ward and its true. But the testing didn't end up in the final contract.

And if he doesn't care if Ward does it or not, why did he bring it up and put Ward on the spot at the press conference? Because he's trolling and trying to get in his head.

Ward is not obligated to do anything other than what's specified in his contract. He has not been proven to be on anything and obviously feels he has nothing to prove at the moment. When he feels he's ready he will do it but it won't be because some challenger tries to dictate the terms to him.

Why didn't Ward fulfill is Super Six contract and do WADA certified testing for those fights? Abraham, Kessler, Froch, and Taylor all did it during the tournament. Ward is the only one who did not.

Then they should take it up with the proper authorities if there was some breach of contract. That's not my problem. Show me a positive test.

Of course there's no positive test. Ward refuses to get tested.

When it's in the contract, Ward claims the problem is a money issue. When there's no money issue, Ward claims it's a contract issue. Ward is a con man. Plain and simple.

Well apparently Abraham vs Durrell didn't have WADA testing which tells me your making **** up. There was no contractual obligation that was enforceable for all fighters in the tournament.

Sauerland Event has confirmed to BoxingScene.com that the Home Depot Center in California is "one of the sites" being discussed for the Super Six semi-final bou

But continue your conquest. I'll hold judgement until I see sufficient evidence.
