I can honestly say thats one of the worst fights to watch I've witnessed. The only highlight was Joe humiliating buttkins by giving him a good dry humping.

LMFAO, Oh I see... Joe wanted the rematch, but HBO would put the money up for it

So the Dawson-Tarver rematch was worth the money, but Hopkins-Calzaghe wasn't?

Use your ***in head and stop making excuses

But, like I said, I'm over it... I don't care that Hopkins lost, I'm not that big a fan. U Calzaghe fans on the other hand have to live with the FACT that Calzaghe's blatantly ducked a rematch... And ur the ones that have to convince themselves something
was Bernard willing to cross the pond and fight on Joe's turf? I think not. Joe on the other hand, did.

There was never going to be a rematch ......

        1) Calzaghe clearly won the fight; only a biased American judge, with a history of poor scoring, gave it to Hopkins.

        2) To the best of my recollection, Calzaghe never gave rematches, I think he only fought one opponent twice. He prefered to move on to fresh, new and exciting challenges.

        3) He was nearing retirement and Calzaghe didn't want to miss out on fighting Jones, by wasting time rehashing old ground.

        4) It was a dull fight, and I doubt if anyone was prepared to spend money on watching it all over again.

How much did Dawson and Tarver get paid?

Calzaghe got $10m to fight a shot ass Roy Jones on PPV.

It sounded hard enough to make the fight happen in the first place after Hopkins antics when they were supposed to fight many years before that.

Hopkins is hard to negotiate with, why bother messing around with him when you've got an easy to organise fight with Jones to look forward to.

Hmm so why was Enzo telling his son he needed a KO in the last round to win? lol.

same reason why nacho always tells Marquez he is winning. because he's the trainer, not the wicketkeeper.

I never saw what the debate was about, after round 3 Joe pretty much took over and B-hop just spoiled and tried to create inaction more than anything. Joe won clearly and no one would have wanted to watch a rematch because it was an awkward uninteresting fight.
