Am I the only that would rather Canelo-GGG over Canelo-Cotto?!! That fight doesn't seem that impossible to make either but no one seems to mention it.

The opponent is just as important at this star at this level of money and promotional budgets. I dig Floyd but as he himself has stated "People aren't watching to see me win, they tune in to see if I lose"..I.E. meaning people's interest is on what kind of performance his opponent can put up against him...everyone is aware of what Floyd has done and can do.
This is 2013 bro not 2008. Nobody cares if he loses or not.

no way showtime does 5 ppv's in a year.
Do you mean Showtime or GB or both?

Well I prefer it this way. I'd rather them keep their budget open then blow it all on 3 mismatches and/or rigged Texas fights.
Yea but isn't Showtime still responsible for paying the fighters on the card?

Great news to hear that Canelo is fighting three times next year, the more he fights the better for the fans as long as it is also against true competition.

Only fights I want to see are: cotto & martinez.

Both w/ HBO. I'm sure Dibella is willing to burn some bridges for that PPV $$$
If Bradley vs Marquez (A Mexican fkin legend) didn't even get Mayweather-Guerrero numbers what makes you think Canelo will?

He'll be lucky to do 400k, especially after he got thoroughly outclassed vs Mayweather.

canelo's fights would go back to being non-ppv unless his opponent is either cotto or martinez. none of the available gbp fighters is worthy of a ppv fight for canelo.
