CBS is a huge company but I just can't see them allowing espinoza 5 ppv's in a year between 2 guys.

He will probably do may/guerrero numbers. He could do better if he gets a legit opponent.

Only fights I want to see are: cotto & martinez.

Both w/ HBO. I'm sure Dibella is willing to burn some bridges for that PPV $$$

Cotto first, I feel like Cotto takes it
Lara or Trout? Lara stops him, Trout wins rematch
Maravilla- Martinez retires Canelo and rides off into the sunset

I don't see anything wrong with that, ask a 36 year old boxer to fight 3 times in a year , and a 23 year old to fight the same.

you don't want to see the fight just don't watch it, don' t pay, like Floyd ? pay his ppv, like Canelo pay his ppv, simple as that.

No way in hell Canelo is doing 700k+

Chavez Jr(who's popularity at the time was equal or greater) did 475k against the universally recognized MW champ who had fought numerous times on HBO and had been in good scraps had been in good scraps vs names like Williams and Pavlik. He'll be lucky to do 400k, especially after he got thoroughly outclassed vs Mayweather.

Canelo vs Maravilla, Canelo vs Cotto and Canelo vs Lara are worth ppv's even tho the Lara one could be a technical snooze fest most of the people think Lara is the king of Jr. Middle, I'm not backing up my words, Canelo is a world class boxer, loosing to Floyd is what other 17 champions did so no shame on that, i put my bet's in favor of Canelo except for the Maravilla one, Sergio is on the decline, but still a tough cookie to crumble, Canelo KO's Cotto and wins a closee UD against Lara.

We'll see. With fighters like Floyd and Canelo there are enough fans that will pay regardless. I prefer it this way because it gives you the option to pay for it or not and ShowTime Championship Boxing can still put on stacked cards with GBP's other fighters.

You may not remember it, but it happened. Go back some years and check the schedules if you dint believe me. You had HBO doing over 10 ppvs, Showtime with 4-5, and than some random ppvs off network.

I've always said UFC did Boxing fans a favor by replacing bad boxing ppvs with there own.

And they GBP/Showtime will continue embarrassing themselves with bad ppv #s(besides mayweather) and canceled ppv events (broner/maidana). GBP is on a role with failed ppv events and ppv events that never happened. Remember when canelo was suppose to go ppv again Kirkland? This a common theme with GBP.

I really want to know what Showtime paid for it's two big events coming up on Showtime for free. haymon amd GBP have built a business climate where everyone thinks there worth more than they are. It's going to get ugly for everyone.

Kirkland just had shoulder surgery and they offered him a fight knowing he would not be healed that soon. So of course they turned it down, hence the cancellation.
