Is it acceptable that Garcia and Broner openly duck Mayweather?

But somehow Garcia needs to be babied, even though it's apparent he can easily fill out at 147?
great point. We know that Khan, JMM, Guerrero and others actually dared to be great. ****, even GGG says he'll starve himself and so did Martinez.

We now have 2 young talented guns who should be aiming for the best, but no, they're not and fans seem to be weirdly okay with it. i don't get it

They're waiting to take Floyd on his way out of the sport. It's the cheap and cowardly way to do it. Even some of Canelo's fans wanted him to fight Floyd down the line instead of this year. It speaks volumes of how great Floyd is.

Haha. I used to think like you but then Floyd/Khan happened. That destroyed any hope I had of boxing becoming a real sport again.

I don't think either fighter should fight him yet. They're a bit too green. I'd like for Garcia to get at least 2 fights at 47 under his belt before entertaining a Mayweather fight, and Broner to get another fight @47 after Maidana (assuming he wins) before a possible fight with Floyd.

No one atm, in my opinion. I think Floyd should take another fight at 154 against the winner of Trout vs. Lara. That being said, it won't happen because Showtime needs to make PPV money because of the absurd amount of money they are paying Floyd and neither Trout or Lara have a huge fan base.

You and junior gong desperately want to make this true. Manny fans and race baiters and flouyd haters on nsb are the only people who think or believe this. Meanwhile casual fans like the ones that vote on espn think floyd is one of the 5 greatest ever.

If Danny feels he's not ready, then he's not ready. And to be honest, I feel like he's not ready as well. Why would anyone go into a fight when they feel they're not ready? I actually commend Danny for this move. Most people would take this fight driven by money. People say "But Amir Khan is chasing Mayweather even though he's never fought at 147." Amir Khan doesn't seem like the guy that makes smart decisions. He will automatically think he's the best for no reason. Which is ****** in my opinion. It takes a guy that knows what they're doing to say "I'm not ready to fight Mayweather yet." There is nothing wrong with that. Angel Garcia said he wants to blend Garcia into the 147 division rather than just throwing him in there. What's wrong with that? Why automatically go for the top dog? That's some Amir Khan **** right there. The difference between Danny and Amir is that Danny earns his way to the top fights. Amir just gets it, earning it or not.
