Because Lara Mayweather would be a good fight assuming Lara continues to win. I'm no Lara fan and didn't say anything about him being a monster other than if he keeps winning and makes a name he could very well likely get a Mayweather fight.

Thats what it takes; win vs a name, hold a title(s) and be rated in his respected weight class and or P4P.

Lara could very well achieve all the above.

You would have a point if Cotto was under contract. The fact that he isn't won't matter if it was WWIII let a lone a cold war. The fight can be made with or without TR, see Mayweather Cotto for reference.

If you notice its been Shaeffer and Oscar talking nothing but **** to Arum. Arum hasn't said **** to them, any time Arum says something harsh about golden boy itss becaus the interviewer repeats to them what Golden boy said about him.

Shaeffer is scum, people forget how he kissed Arums ass when Floyd retired after the hatton fight and settled the pacquiao contract dispute out of court, they were desperate because Pacman was the biggest star left besides Oscar when floyd retired.

A lot of these fools will say when was the last time top rank did business with golden boy, how about this, if they say Arum only does in house fights with Pacman to protect him, how come when Arum settled the contract issue with golden boy, All Pacquiao ever really fight was Golden boy fighters?

So where is this in house fight crap coming from? most promoters would rather have in house fights in general, but Arum never protected Pac, he put Pac in with Golden boy fighters, Barrera, Marquez, Oscar, and Hatton. after the Hatton fight that is when Floyd came back piggy backing on Pacmans name and teasing the world with a fight with Marquez, since then Goldenboy has talked nothing but **** to Top Rank.

Nobody I have seen gives GBPs any pass. In fact all I keep reading is how all promoters are **** or that GBPs wears fishnets etc etc. I hear more crying over GBPs than Bob Arum and TR. Its just that WHEN people DO mention TR, people such as yourself make some huge ordeal about it.

I believe some odd years ago a pole was made about promoters and being scum and GBPs and TR were pretty equal so I don't know why you're making such a big deal about TR catching flak when both do it's just nobody cries about it when GBP is being discussed. In fact most agree and go on about fishnets this, coke that, rehab this and something negative that.

At the end of the day, who cares? If a fight can be made, so be it. Cotto Alvarez can be made with or without Bob Arum. The fact GBP's and TR don't do business won't stop the fight from happening as Cotto is not under contract but prefers TR or at least that is what it appears.
