I don't get this, about the 9 months later thing. Rosado didn't complain 9 months later, from what I understand, he complained even before the fight, and only recounted the story 9 months later. Likely because he was asked a question about GGG vs Stevens and what he thinks, and then he brought it up. I am surprised that at this stage, forum members still feel that boxers randomly seek out interviews to talk about a certain boxer. The boxer is seeked out and asked these questions, and based on the questions, they give their opinions. This is common sense.

With that said, I don't think anything illegal happened.

No. Rosado was given the choice between one pair of certified legal gloves and another pair of certified legal gloves, so it's not really quite the same as the situations you mention, now, is it?

With PED's it's more guesswork for a boxer to accuse it without much to go on.

But the gloves, boxers are using, hit by and around them so much they have a right to speak out if they have a hunch.

Things like wrapping a certain way, massaging the gloves, hitting walls probably goes on a lot more than we like to think.

Sorry, but where does it say that any of the involved parties even suggest that 'they didn't want to swap gloves'. The only person who's said that is a random poster on here who just made it up.

The implication behind that idea is that GGG (unlike other fighters who use identical back-up gloves) somehow has a 'fixed' set and a 'normal' set(s) which are specially made by Grants. Does this not sound a little bizarre to you.

While it is fair to say that Gabe is getting pilloried for what was probably only an ill-considered throwaway statement, bear in mind that he is certainly implying that Golovkin cheated when they fought, which is a pretty serious charge, yet has no evidence to back it up.
