before the statement i just washed it off as bitterness but something is obviously not right..............

so the solution is for him to use the exact same gloves that he's complaining about?

what kind of pre school logic is that haha
I assume you didn't read the actual article. Grant didn't suggest using Golovkin's extra sets it was Sanchez. What Grant said is that Rosado's accusation about the gloves not being to specification implied he would be willing to risk the repuation of his company to give one boxer an unfair advantage. Grant makes custom color gloves for everyone including Mayweather, Hopkins, Klitschko but thinking he would risk everything for Golovkin is a pathetic and illogical accusation.

Nobody agreed with Rosado or his trainer including the NYSAC. There you go making up your own reality again.

One pair of Grant gloves is the same as another pair within about an ounce at the most. Rasado would have lost exactly the same way if he wore GGG's gloves and GGG wore his gloves. He was just being a cry baby and a sore loser. He will most likely lose again tonight so he needs to start thinking up his excuses for this loss.

these are the only facts..............the rest is theories.
The gloves had been pre-checked then re-packed and sealed to be opened again immediately prior to the fight when they were checked again by Briscoe and Rosado and the NYSAC officials as per contract. Wrapping and gloving up were then immediately done with witnesses (as always). It was done this way to ensure any such allegations could be refuted (as they have been).

NYSAC passed the gloves as safe, so in effect all Rosado could do (and what he should have done) if he believed the gloves were illegal was refuse to fight, and if necessary demand to retain the gloves for further inspection.

What Rosado is in fact doing is calling into question the legitimacy of the NYSAC and probably the reputation of Grants Gloves (by suggesting they were 'custom made' with deliberately less padding) - not only Golovkin and Sanchez.

That said, I don't believe Gabe was trying to create this kinda fuss or had thought it through, it was likely just a throw-away response to an interviewers question which has been taken out of context and blown outta proportion. Most likely he was thinking about his own fight and trying to imply that Kid C wasn't as likely to beat him up as people thought. If he follows NSB I wouldn't be surprised if he was a little bitter anyways.

Anyway, clearly GGGs gloves will be thoroughly checked (as they woulda been anyway) in any future fights, and if Sanchez and Loeffler are smart they oughta film the unwrapping and inspection process just to ensure such comments can be proved baseless.

they did make a fuss about it before the fight started if you are unaware please read all the reports. They did make a fuss about it. so Like I said the claims arent without substance, but like I said I believe Rosado is just being a poor sport. But you cant deny their was a situation before hand about the gloves.
Both sides agree that Rosado and Briscoe had a problem with the gloves, that's not the same as 'both sides agree there was a problem with the gloves'.

Golovkin was on the A side? I guess you're saying that Golovkin got his way because he's the HBO star..or that titlist..whatever?

Well no, Golovkin didn't have to do anything, 'cos the NYSAC said that the gloves were safe and legal. Once that was decided all Gabe could really do if he disagreed was to pull outta the fight and make an official complaint.

Once again the only 'situation' was that Gabe and Billy weren't happy with GGGs gloves. That is essentially no situation since a) the gloves had been checked and passed, and b) they decided to fight anyway.

It's a bit like Gabe saying 'you know, I looked at his muscles and thought, nah man, something ain't right here'. Without any substantiation and with the checks in place and conformed to, it just amounts to Gabe giving a disrespectful (and provably false) opinion.

Well for one it doesn't say that anywhere, nor does it even suggest that Gabe or Briscoe even asked for them. Secondly, why the hell would Golovkin be expected to give his checked and legal gloves to Rosado.

Anyways, may I suggest you try the link suggested at the start of the thread:

The fact this is being discussed in detail, as if Rosado's claims have any strength is disgusting to me. This site is pathetic, and loves bs scandals like this.
