Do u hear yourself? Floyd should do what Arum wants to get certain fights to happen? That's basically blackmail. He made the right choice in leaving. If arum wants to hold his fighters in lieu that's what it is.

        Mayweather vs. Cotto (undefeated)
        Mayweather vs. Margarito
        Mayweather vs. Clottey
        Mayweather vs. Pacquiao
        Mayweather vs. Bradley

That would have been a sick ass resume for sure.
        Who the fuck is Clottey?

Why would he go back to Bob? Why should he have to?

Its been proven that Arum does everything in house. And if its not in house, he gets options on the other promoters fighter. GBP is becoming just as bad but the reason why those fights didn't happen was probably 90% at least Arum's fault.

Why would Floyd be offended? He wasn't bad mouthing Floyd. All he was saying was it would never happen as long as Bob is in the picture.

GBP is almost completely in-house unless they have to outsource for a tune-up opponent such as Hopkins vs Murat or Quillin vs Rosado.

Just last year Arum made Chavez-Martinez happen. Golden Boy has not collaborated with an outside promoter for a comparable fight on that level.

GBP makes a lot of noise about wanting to match their guys up with the best fighters and Top Rank getting in the way... but look at the network they're affiliated with, Showtime. You can't name one showcase fighter on Showtime that isn't a GBP fighter.

rios vs bradley is a much better fight anyways.
Easy fight for Bradley and besides, Rios don't want it. When aske about it he gave the whole 'it's my managers and promoters job to decide who I fight'

They're the same to me. GBP did

                    Canelo vs. Austin Trout
                    Khan vs. Peterson
                    Mayweather vs. Cotto
                    Austin Trout vs. Cotto

Neither Trout or Cotto were GBP fighters. But HBO has a much bigger budget than ShowTime. ShowTime barely has enough of a budget to handle just the fighters on GBP's roster. That's why the second half of the year has been empty and we're getting cards like this one coming up on Saturday.

If any fight finally happens between Floyd Mayweather and a Top Rank fighter while the fighter is in TR, it's gong to be Pacquiao. Otherwise, since 2006 when Floyd left TR, there's been absolutely no chance of Floyd fighting a TR fighter. People can say all they want with their immature little comments about Floyd being scared of whoever from 2006-2008, but the fact actually is that Haymon and Arum can't do business together.
