I am not buying in to Broners hype, he'll never be Floyd, not in this lifetime or the next

He wont make it far, he is simply flat footed, that's his style

He might get away with it against Maidana, soon as he meets a guy with reach, decent power and movement, he'll struggle
You never know though....Broner and Danny Garcia came from the same school of boxing, they boxed in the amateurs together and they know each other well.

Everyone thought Garcia was flat footed until he fought against a guy he had to move against.

He can blitz him with combos. Broner's body is open but he is very hard to hit to the head.

I'm not saying Broner wouldn't lose to whoever this mystery guy is but I'd like to hear who you have in mind.
Zab Judah fighting defensively and moving like he did v Matthysse would beat him imo.

His opponent was coming to him, the criticism of Garcia is that he struggles when his opponent moves away from him.

Even in those open sparring sessions.

I highly doubt Judah would beat Broner. I just don't like when people say "when he fights a fighter that...". It's like they've already beat everyone and now people want to make up fantasy fighters (not saying you just people in general)

Devon Alexander would beat Broner IMO, not that I'd count Broner out but Alexander is much better at what Paulie did than Paulie is.

i dont think he would. alexanders weakness is he cant fight in the pocket or on the inside. hes a mover but his movement isnt as smart as paulies. itd be a good fight both guys play to each others advantages. i think id favor broners inside game to bring it home tho.

I just think Broner struggles with a mover. Paulie and Ponce both did very well at times but neither had the power to damage Adrien but as soon as he meets a mover that does possess power, he's going to struggle imo.

Maybe it wouldn't be Judah, although I'd like to see that fight but a Thurman could be problematic for him.

Alexander would just tie him up on the inside Wlad-style.

disagreed. maidana actually has decent upper body movement and slips a lot of punches, more than he's credited for. he has above average defense. real bad defense is something like what rios does, he just put his hands up and soaks in damage. sort of like amir khan too.
